Rathaus Information Desk

The city administration performs its role in a transparent and customer-friendly manner, and its staff are happy to answer questions or handle queries from residents, students, guests and companies.

St.Gallen’s city administration is divided into five departments, each of which is run by a member of the City Council. The City Chancellery, as an executive department of the City Council, prepares the business of the City Parliament. The Communication executive department is the point of contact for the media and for general questions from the public.
